Nordic Star 2024 Pitch Competition

NLSDays Nordic Star is a pitch competition for Nordic life science SMEs. During Nordic Life Science Days on 18-19 September 2024, a selection of high-potential Nordic SMEs will compete for the Nordic Star Award. 

To apply for the competition, fill in the application form below before 31 May 2024. 20 companies are selected by a jury consisting of high-profile investors and big pharma scouts to pitch their innovation in front of the NLSDays attendees. The selected companies receive one free ticket to NLSDays 2024, including access to the partnering platform.   

During NSLDays 2024, the selected companies will give a four-minute pitch of their company in front of the audience and the jury. The winner will be announced during NLSDays’ Closing Ceremony.

Nordic Star 2024 Pitch Competition Jury

The company with the highest investment potential, selected by the jury of investors and pharma representatives will receive prize of 10,000 EUR in cash, in-kind services and 2 full-access tickets to NLSDays 2025.

Inclusion Criteria for applicants

  • SME with main activities in one of the Nordic countries performing research and development within health, medical, or life science industries.
  • Private company.

NLSDays 2024 application for Nordic startup pitch challenge

  • Accepted file types: pdf, Max. file size: 20 MB.
    Instructions: A 1-pager is a brief summary of your company, including a company and team overview, the problem it solves, market potential, main competitors, competitive advantage, go-to-market strategy, traction, business model, and crucial milestones. The 1-pagers of selected companies will be handed to investors attending NLSDays.
  • Accepted file types: pdf, Max. file size: 20 MB.
    Instructions: The pitch deck is only used by the jury to evaluate the readiness level of the company. Maximum 10 slides.
  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, Max. file size: 20 MB.
    Instructions: Logo will be used for NLSDays marketing material for selected companies.
  • Accepted file types: png, jpg, Max. file size: 20 MB.
    Instructions: Picture will be used for NLSDays marketing material for selected companies.
